Flame retardant bedding, ISO 12952-2
Our fire-safe bedding compliant with ISO 12952-2 is designed for environments where fire safety, durability and hygiene are critical. This product group is ideal for care homes, hospitals, hotels and other accommodation and care facilities where enhanced safety requirements apply.
The bedding has flame-retardant properties and is tested in accordance with the international standard ISO 12952-2, which addresses the ignitability of bedding textiles. This helps reduce the risk of fire spread and supports the facility’s overall safety strategy.
In addition to fire safety, the bedding is:
- sateen
- skin-friendly and comfortable even during long-term use
- suitable for intensive everyday use
- durable for frequent industrial laundering – fire safety is maintained even after 250 wash cycles (the ISO 12952-2 test was conducted after 250 wash cycles at 60°C)
- professional in appearance, making it well suited for institutional environments
It is a reliable choice for organisations that must comply with safety standards without compromising on comfort or quality.
* Sateen bedding colour: white
* Sateen fabric specifications: TC 210 • 30×30 • 175 g/m² • 70% cotton / 30% polyester
* Shrinkage in laundering: approx. 5% in length over extended use (depending on the equipment and temperatures used in the laundry facility), and approx. 5% in width.
- FLAME RETARDANT: material with flame-retardant properties; tested in accordance with ISO 12952-2
- PILLING-RESISTANT: anti-pilling material; rating 4/5 (ISO 12945-2:2020, Martindale 2000 cycles)
- MINIMAL PACKAGING: we use as little packaging material as possible to conserve resources and protect the environment
All fire-safe bedding meets the requirements of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
